Our Story

It all started when Don Paco and Do ña Tonia arrived from Guadalajara, Mexico, with big dreams and an even bigger heart. After working their way up from humble beginnings to restaurant owner, They opened our little corner spot on Centinela (just south of Washington) in 1973 and began sharing the authentic flavors of home with the community.

Today, we’re still a proud, family-run kitchen with two locations on the Westside —  Centinela and Westchester. Everything is made with love, just like it always has been. We hand-make our tortillas the same way Abuelita Mariquita taught us, using recipes passed down through generations.

Since 1973, Paco’s Tacos Cantina has been a beloved part of Los Angeles families. We’ve watched kids become parents and grandparents bring their grandchildren to the same tables. Our handmade tortillas, legendary Supermex Burrito, sizzling Carne Asada, and perfectly crafted margaritas have stood the test of time.

While we honor our Mexican roots and family traditions, we’ve evolved to blend old-school cantina charm with modern comfort — perfect for busy young families and lively gatherings. Two locations strong and still 100% family-owned,
